The newest 2018 Ford F-150 Raptor model will hit the market at the end of this year. For almost a decade, the passenger vehicles surpassed the pick-up models on a regular basis. But that cascaded away and with time the trend reversed. In 2016, the Ford sold about 820,000 F-series models which tipsters say was almost double of the Camry or any other passenger model. The Ford F 150 launched at the Detroit Car show in 2014, was a huge part of those successful sales. There are also some who state that Ford with their F-150 Raptor brought about a new revolution in the pick-up segment. And with time they will be looking to power through the market for many years to come.

However, this new-gen Ford F-150 Raptor 2018 is likely to come with a power-packed 3.5 Liter Eco-Boost engine. There is also the word that it might come mated with a direct fuel inject. The power will be transferred to all 4 wheels of the model.

The exact configuration is unknown, but belief is there that this new engine will put out 450HP of power. The EPA ratings of this new engine will be around 15-18 mpg in the city/freeways.

This model will come to dealerships at the end of this year with a base price of around $ 51,000. Its toughest competition may come from the likes of RAM, GMC, and Nissan.
